Great post!

You packed many issues into that one. I can definitely say that I know how you feel. Administration is difficult and I do share your views on educational leadership, etc. We have talks in our homerooms about issues, etc. and even gave them a name. We involved the students in the making of our cellphone policy, and I think for the most part it works.

Recently, I went to a session at Showcase with Dr. Barbosa. She reaffirmed many of the things we are trying to do in our school for the past couple of years. If you can "create a culture," where all are involved and can provide input, work towards a common good, then things should improve.

I have often thought about using technology to help administration as well. Let's chat!
