One thing that I neglected to discuss in my own post from last night was the hand/eye coordination that is needed for some of these games. We purchased a Game Boy for my four year old last Christmas. He has a developmental delay due to some ear issues and language acquisition. With that said, the game boy has improved his fine motor skills in manipulating the little buttons of the console to manipulate the characters on his screen. Yet another use for some sort of gaming in the ESE realms.
