Hi Kelly,

I've been thinking about this whole idea of blog statistics. It is about finding a way into the conversation for those of us who are new. I have a Technorati ranking and it's something like 500 000th. It doesn't matter to me except that I wrote a post the other day which I would like to generate a conversation and no one has come to see it.

I know I need to link to people and I need to post comments in other people's blogs but how do you leave a comment which says hey, I want to start a new conversation are you interested?

I guess in a sense that is what I am doing here. Dropping in to say, come on over. I had a <a href="http://sfens.wordpress.com/2007/02/06/bridzilla-and-the-economy-of-attention/" rel="nofollow">thought <a>today.

Hi, Kelly.

Thank you for the gracious nod in your post. I do hope that, by speaking honestly about my work, life and experiences, it proves to be something that someone may find useful in some way.
